ESTEE LAUDER's First Ever #BeautyPlayground!

26th November 2015 marks the official opening of Estee Lauder's first ever concept store and that is..in Malaysia! Now open in Sunway Pyramid,Lot G1.128,Ground floor.

I was invited together with other lifestyle/beauty/makeup bloggers by their organizer to celebrate this wonderful event and i must say,im one of the earliet to come and play around in their "playground" store.Taking the opportunity before the space gets too crowded ahem :3

There are five different parts in the store playground - Glow (skincare),Glam Up (makeup), Get Polished (polishes and lipstick), Fragrances and Get inspired with Kendall Jenner with her signature makeup look!

For me,i have used Estee Lauder's products before and that is their face powder but that was a lonngg damn time ago.So yesterday i got the chance to ask questions to their beauty specialists, they were very helpful and now i get a clear view on what Estee Lauder has to offer. Also managed to get some swatches of my favourite lip colours from their collection (say, nudeee all the way!).

I should have taken more quality photos but my camera broke down so this is very few good pictures that i have from yesterday.Credits to my dear friend Roze for her photography skills :P

We also scored a goodie bag from the team and it is soo funkyy,i love the pouch! Coincidentally i really needed a travel makeup bag this time around and this is the perfect size! Inside they are filled with travel size Estee Lauder products -ModernMuse Eau De Parfum spray, Advanced Night Repair, Pure Color Eyeshadow and Double Wear Zero Smudge Mascara. I also got lucky yesterday that i won an extra prize for winning the quiz session yasss! They rewarded me with the Pure Color Envy Lipstick.Phewww i lovelovelovee getting makeup goodies!

There you have it,Estee Lauder's first ever store in the world.See it for yourself in Sunway Pyramid Ground floor.Totally recommend checking out their skincare range.I tried their advance night repair last night and my skin felt uber luxurious this morning. What a great start!

Till next time

REVIEW : Urban Decay - Urban Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette

Hey guys! So finally today i will be writing my thoughts on the new Urban Decay Holiday 2015 collection - Urban Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette ! I got it about two weeks ago during the launching of their first ever flagship store in Malaysia! .I was pretty stoked and urban decay has been my favourite makeup brand for quite awhile .To add up the excitement ,Urban Decay team saw my instagram and personally invited me to have a tour in their new store and to hand me their holiday gifts! Free makeupsss yassss!

During the event day,i was treated so nicely! i wanted to say thank you so much to Aedin for showing me around ,such a sweetheart! .I also got cupcakes and melon juice, sippyy sippyyy. After all those swatching and chattin, before i leave they handed me their new 24/7 waterline eye pencil which these babies havent been released yet until on the 28th of October. I might be doing another different review for that as well.

Okay, back to the palette review, lets start with the packaging. To be real the packaging really hit me like a truck ! Im a sucker for great packagings. So the outer cover is the name of their products with a pressed typography/fonts that are dressed in rainbows.Oh God,rainbows. One tick! The back shows their eyeshadow colours ,names and a little description about this product. When u open it,they have this beautiful all black case with a "UD" jewel and a laser cut filigreed edges. However, they dont have a magnet or a clasp that holds the bottom and the upper case together so it just..it falls off very easily so i would'nt recommend to those who are clumsy and have buttered fingers. Not travel friendly, less practical but as for me,its not really a big deal.

Time for the major deal. The 15 shades of eyeshadows.I really like working with cool tones  so i think its awesome that this palette offers alot of that variety .Its is too,an Urban Decay's signature colour. They love playing with cool shades and jewel tones. They are no matte colours here. Most of it are shimmers, glitters and sheens which will definitely pimp up my collection because i rarely have glitters in my makeup case so why not.And...its actually a birthday present from myself,to myself so...think i deserved something sparkly! Trust me,the picture above did no justice to the real thing. It looks sooo much prettier in person. If you're not a glitter or sparkly person then this a no go for you.The pigmentation is spectacular and the texture is oh-so buttery! Im guessing because it is a glitter eyeshadow. These type of shadows usually have the most buttery texture unlike the matte ones which will always get flaky.Glitters might have a softer fomula or..nah? just a wild guess, haha! Just based on my observation with most makeup brands.

Overall i would say this is a pretty neat palette. Eventho it might upset some mainly because we thought that it will be a full rainbow palette inside but nope, there are no oranges or yellow..I have never seen anything warm from UD's collection,so far. If i were to compare these with the new VICE 4 palette,i would pick these because of the colour combos . Vice 4 colours is a bit dull..doesnt match my liking..eek ! This palette is also limited edition so be sure to run to the Urban Decay flagship store KLCC before they are gone forever!

I cant wait to show you some of my looks created from this palette! soon!

Hello,blog!

Hey guys!

Welcome to my blog.i miss writing soo so much.I used to start blogging when i was in primary school about when i was 11 years old because i was a lonely child,i felt like blogging and expressing myself in words was my way of dealing with everything,Its enough to make me feel better,at least. Afterwards,i stopped when i entered middle school because i got distracted with music and my school marching band.It was an absolute roller coaster ride.It has been 4 years i haven't sat down and start up again my blog but today,is the day i shall make it happen. What should i write? Hmm let's start on the introduction of myself.shall we?

After finishing middle school, i always knew that i wanted to do arts and so i enrolled myself in Limkokwing University as a Professional Design student. If not for the elite scholarship,i would have gone to One Academy or UITM Sri Iskandar.Im truly blessed to have such wonderful parents and family that supports me in whatever passion i chose to pursue.

When i started college in 2013,I have been drawing non stop! I did alot of doodles, drawings, illustrations, mural arts and all that paper projects. However, sooner or later i got bored.Drawing on paper is just..blergh.I mean, its fine but i need something more to excite me .Growing up im always the kind that is always anxious when i have nothing to do.I literally feel nervous if i dont get things done.I dont know if its a blessings or a curse, either way it made me the person i am today!

As a girl,i believe that we all tend to try makeup at least ONCE in our whole life.I tried it,i love it and i never stopped! I never have the luxury to learn makeup professionally or attend short courses and classes..Thus, youtube is my guru and scrolling thru beauty pages, makeup looks and burning the midnight oil with art websites slowly became a part of my routine but then after a while, the same thing happened,i got bored with the normal makeup.I thought to myself one night.."i want to be a different character, wonder how would that feel, seeing yourself as a different person".I was being really deep and stuff and so i got myself the basic paints the day afterwards. In the middle of the night i started painting my face and imitating one of the few reference pictures that i found on the internet.

The scorpion up here was my first ever face art.Right after this moment,i never felt so good.Transforming yourself is just..crazy! After that i started paint more and more and looking for ideas around, find good face paints and whenever i have the time,i would post my looks on instagram as well..I have been doing this for about a year now.I kept posting and posting my looks and people responded really well.I get alot of questions on how i did my makeup, what brand i used, and even people are asking me to do their makeup! I never thought that people would trust my work and my thoughts. Its just mind blowing how the social media platform opened doors for me to have my own freelance job, different clients, brand partners, photography collabs..makeup projects..It changed my life.Basically it all started from boredom..and procrastination..yikes! but really,i remembered this one phrase from my favourite book, "Steal Like An Artist" - "The work that you do while you procrastinate might be the work that you'll do for your lifetime" .Sounds scary, but you never know! Passion takes time, its not in front of you therefore you have to find it, discover it yourself.

Its been an absolutely spontaneous journey for me.. I want to say thank youuu so sooo much to all who supported my work, friends and family, strangers with kind words,i thank you so much. You're my number one motivation to push me on doing what i love to do most. Fo shnitreall. I couldn't thank you enough.

and so..i have no idea whats next for me in this journey..but im excited for it :)

Love,
Neesa
